Seattle to Atlanta



I didn't need an alarm clock this morning. Sleeping through the night was a nice idea, alas it was not to be. I was too excited to start the adventure I had been dreaming about. 





 Here are a few items I'm carrying in my backpack. My backpack weight is 32 lbs. When I am able to send home my winter gear, I should be able to drop a few pounds. Fingers crossed. 

Smartwool 150 1/4 zip baselayer, regular leggings

Smartwool 250 baselayer top and 250 leggings for sleeping, wool socks for sleeping. 

3 pairs Darn Tough socks, 3 pairs Injingi toe sock liners

3 pairs panties, sports bra

Eddie bauer down jacket
 Patagonia Torrentshell 3L jacket outerlayer
Patagonia R1 jacket midlayer 

Balaclava fleece, REI liner gloves, REI waterproof mittens, Head running gloves

REI rain pants
 
Knee braces, Black Diamond Micro-spikes,
Waterproof cover for backpack, Sawyer Squeeze for filtering water, Petzl Headlamp, Deuce 2, and BearVault 450


My sleep system 
Sit pad, Nemo Tensor UL sleeping pad,
REI Magma 15 degree sleeping bag.
